CP Express
CP Express is a new 48-inch pipeline approximately 85.4 miles in length connecting the CP2 LNG terminal to the existing natural gas pipeline grid in East Texas and Southwest Louisiana. One new compressor station has been constructed near Moss Lake, Louisiana.
The route for the CP Express natural gas pipeline was developed using the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) routing guidelines. Considerations including safety, environment, land-use compatibility, constructability, environmental justice and cultural resources were all central to route planning.
