Venture Global Delta LNG

We are developing a natural gas liquefaction and export facility with a nameplate capacity of up to 24.4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.

The Delta LNG terminal will be located on an approximately 1,100 acre site, near Mile 54 of the Mississippi River, south of New Orleans. The site has approximately 0.6 miles of deep-water frontage on the Mississippi River. The Delta Express Pipeline will connect the terminal with natural gas pipeline interconnections.

our strategy 2

Modern state of the art plant

We expect Delta LNG’s design to minimize environmental impact and maximize safety and operational reliability utilizing our "design one, build many" method. The facility will utilize electrically-driven motors, air cooling, combined cycle power and state of the art, full containment storage tanks which seek to eliminate methane release from stored LNG.

our strategy 2

Utilizing VG's signature modular approach

We expect that Delta LNG will utilize a similar project configuration, development approach, and reliability testing process that was successfully implemented by Venture Global’s Calcasieu Pass project in Cameron, Louisiana and currently being employed at Venture Global's Plaquemines project located adjacent to the Delta LNG site.
This strategy results in competitive construction costs and maximizes operational reliability.
