OUR STRATEGY

Venture Global believes that natural gas is a critical fuel source of the future and intends to deliver competitively priced LNG to the world.
Natural gas is a critical energy source of the future, and Venture Global is delivering low-cost, reliable liquified natural gas (LNG) to the world.
With lower cost LNG, more global, growing economies will realize the environmental benefits of clean-burning natural gas.
By lowering the long-term global cost of LNG, Venture Global is providing cleaner, more affordable energy around the globe, helping grow economies and lift people out of energy poverty.
“The world needs clean, low-cost energy which can complement renewables. This is the time to provide plentiful North American gas to our allies and friends around the globe.”

Modular Approach
- Optimally sized .626 MTPA liquefaction modules are fabricated offsite, pre-tested and delivered to the site fully assembled.
- Our LNG liquefaction “blocks” consist of two trains, each with a cold box utilizing industry-standard single mixed refrigerant (SMR) technology.
- Controlled factory settings significantly decrease construction labor and increase site safety, execution quality, and on time delivery.
- Execution risks and installation times have been dramatically reduced through the delivery of fully complete modules.
Next Generation Design
- We believe a factory-built, mid-scale, modular plant design offers significant cost, schedule, safety, and operational advantages when compared to the traditional large scale, custom built, plant configurations around the world.
- We believe our model is fundamentally less risky than more common, highly customized, ‘stick-built’ projects that are constructed almost entirely onsite by large workforces over longer periods of time.
Environmentally Advanced Design
- Our commitment to providing cleaner, reliable, and affordable energy is the driving force behind the innovative design of our facilities and our planned investment in carbon capture and storage, or CCS, at each of our projects.
- As part of our efforts to minimize our overall emissions, we have elected to employ electrically-driven liquefaction technology that is powered by highly efficient combined cycle gas turbines.
- Our projects are completely air cooled (power, pre-treatment and liquefaction), rather than water cooled. Further, we use state of the art, full containment storage tanks which seek to eliminate methane release from stored LNG.
- We’ve invested in nine state-of-the-art LNG vessels to deliver LNG in the safest and cleanest manner. Each vessel is equipped with cutting-edge technology to maximize transportation efficiency and lower emissions, and minimize methane emissions by using boil-off-gas to fuel the vessel itself.
