Former No. 2 at Energy Department Boosts LNG

Former Deputy Energy Secretary Daniel Poneman has joined the board of directors at Venture Global LNG, a company working to develop a liquefied natural gas export terminal near the Gulf of Mexico. Poneman held the No. 2 spot at DOE until October of 2014. He was first named deputy energy secretary in May 2009.
